New Delhi, May 21: India has strongly rejected Pakistan’s allegations linking it to a deadly explosion in Khuzdar district of Balochistan, which killed at least five people, including three children. The attack, which reportedly targeted a school bus using a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device, left 38 others injured, according to Pakistani officials as reported by PTI.

Responding to media queries regarding Islamabad’s accusations, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal issued a sharp rebuttal.

“India rejects the baseless allegations made by Pakistan regarding Indian involvement with the incident in Khuzdar earlier today. India condoles the loss of lives in all such incidents. However, in order to divert attention from its reputation as the global epicenter of terrorism and to hide its own gross failings, it has become second nature for Pakistan to blame India for all its internal issues. This attempt to hoodwink the world is doomed to fail,” MEA spokesperson said.

The attack is the latest in a series of violent incidents in Baluchistan, a province long plagued by insurgency and political unrest. The region, which borders Iran and Afghanistan, has witnessed recurring attacks by Baloch militant groups who oppose federal control and have targeted infrastructure linked to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
