The presentation was made by Vice Chairman of NITI Aayog, Suman Bery, during the forum’s Ministerial Segment. Describing the review as an important opportunity to share India’s development journey, Bery said the country had successfully transformed the SDGs into a national movement within a decade, propelled by economic growth, infrastructure investment, targeted schemes, and strong local participation.

The report, coordinated by NITI Aayog, was developed through a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach, involving States, Union Territories, civil society, development partners, and the private sector. The process was guided by a national roadmap and supported by data and evidence, with backing from the UNDP through SDG Coordination and Acceleration Centres across the country.
