New Delhi, Dec 14: The 8th India-Georgia Foreign Office Consultations were held in Tbilisi.

The Indian delegation was led by Sibi George, Secretary (West) in the Ministry of External Affairs, while the Georgian side was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Khvitisiashvili.

During the consultations, both sides reviewed the full range of bilateral relations, including political engagement, trade and economic cooperation, cultural exchanges, and people-to-people ties.

They also discussed ways to expand cooperation in new areas and exchanged views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.

The two sides agreed to continue regular official exchanges to further strengthen bilateral ties.
