India can to go any level to protect its people: BJP’s Sunil Sharma

Srinagar, May 02: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and Leader of Opposition (LOP) in Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Sunil Sharma on Friday said that India never believes in war, but the country can go to any level to protect its people.

Sharma, while replying to a query over ceasefire violations on Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, said it is not first time that Pakistan has resorted to ceasefire violations after Pahalgam terror attack. “Pakistan is behind all terrorist activities happening in Jammu and Kashmir. However India wants peace and never believes in war. But this doesn’t mean we will maintain lull. India can go to any level to protect its citizens,” Sharma asserted.

The BJP leader stated that the way India unfolded its commitment of uprooting terrorism after Pahalgam terror attack, made world aware about our unwavering determination and commitment. “Be it ceasefire violations or any other terror activity in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan who is backing terrorism will be taught unforgettable lesson. We have complete faith on our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is not fond of war, but protection of our people is paramount," Sharma added.
