Masood acknowledged the crucial role Lal Ded Hospital plays as the only Tertiary Care Maternity Hospital in Kashmir, catering to patients from across the districts. "Our sisters are referred from hospitals across Kashmir and even from Rajouri to this hospital for specialised treatment," she emphasized.

During her visit, Masood noted that while there was a slight staff deficiency, steps were being taken to address the issue. Vacant posts had been referred to recruiting agencies to ensure the hospital runs smoothly. She directed the doctors to provide top-notch treatment and instructed authorities to ensure all necessary medicines and supplies are available.

Masood also reiterated the need to increase heating hours, particularly during the harsh winter season.
