In touch with GoI over evacuation of J&K students from Iran: MP Aga Ruhullah
Ganderbal, Jun 17: National Conference (NC) Member Parliament (MP) Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi on Tuesday expressed concern over the safety of Jammu and Kashmiri students and other people amid the rising Iran-Israel escalation.
He said that he is in constant touch with the Government of India (GoI) about the evacuation of the students in various parts of Iran.
Talking to media persons in Ganderbal, Ruhullah said, “ I am in constant touch with the Government of India and have urged the MEA for the steps for the relocation of the students within Iran and the evacuation once the airspace opens.”
He added that he has been assured that all steps are being taken for the relocation and evacuation of the students as the airspace opens. He said that he has offered all help to the students internally within Iran for their relocation , boarding and lodging. NC Member of Parliament further said that Iran is fighting alone against Israel, being backed by the western powers .
Ruhullah stated that Israel is targeting Iran with the weaponry and political help from other western countries including USA and Iran is fighting alone against the Israel .He hoped that peace prevails and the escalation stops.
