Srinagar, May 13: Schools and colleges in non-border areas of Jammu and Kashmir reopened on Tuesday, May 13, in early signs of a return to normal life after being closed for many days due to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.

However, educational institutions in the border districts of Kupwara and Baramulla, as well as Gurez remained closed today until further notice.
