In conversation with Arwa Shah, one of three designers who made debut at Times Fashion Week

In a first, three designers from Kashmir, including Arwa Shah, Mir Manal and Armaan Nasir, showcased a unique collection made entirely from waste materials, such as disposable glasses and ropes, at the Times Fashion Week.

This innovative approach aimed to highlight sustainability and set them apart from traditional ethnic and designer wear.

Their showstopper, actress Anupriya Goenka, wore a dress made from real leaves and branches, symbolizing Mother Earth. The collection, which took six months to prepare, received widespread appreciation. In an exclusive chat with GKTV, Arwa emphasized that their work was more performance art than daily wear, aiming to establish Kashmiri creativity on a prestigious platform.
