Srinagar, Jan 2: President of the All J&K Shia Association and General Secretary of the Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Conference (JKPC), Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, has extended greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of 13th Rajab, marking the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS).

In his message, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari said that the life of Imam Ali (AS) represents a complete school of thought for all of humanity, transcending sects, religions, and eras.

“Imam Ali (AS) taught us that justice is the foundation of governance, compassion is the soul of leadership, and truth must never be compromised, even in the most difficult circumstances,” he said.

Quoting Imam Ali (AS), Molvi Ansari reminded the people: “People are of two kinds: either your brothers in faith or your equals in humanity.”

He said this golden principle holds immense relevance in today’s world, which is grappling with division, injustice, and moral confusion. “If we sincerely internalise this teaching, peace and mutual respect can be restored not only in J&K but across the globe,” he added.

Further quoting Imam Ali (AS), he said: The best wealth is wisdom, the worst poverty is ignorance, and the greatest heritage is good character.” Molvi Ansari urged the youth to draw inspiration from the life of Imam Ali (AS) by prioritising education, ethical values, and service to society over hatred and narrow interests. He also prayed for lasting peace, stability, and harmony in J&K and across India.

"May this blessed occasion become a source of unity, reconciliation, and brotherhood among all communities. We pray that our land is protected from violence, hatred, and division, and that the youth are guided towards a future of hope, dignity, and constructive engagement,” he stated.
