Illegal transportation of minerals | 3 arrested in Baramulla

Baramulla, Jan 1 : Cracking a whip on illegal mining of minerals, Police in Baramulla have seized two tractors, one excavator and arrested their drivers.

Police seized 2 tractors, 1 Excavator and arrested their drivers identified as Nayeem Ahmad Baba resident of Khanpora, Yaseen Ahmad Malik resident of Chak Dargam and Rayees Ahmad Khan resident of Bangdara for their involvement in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals at Khanpora and Dargam Palhallan areas of Baramulla.

Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered in PS Baramulla and PS Pattan and investigations have been initiated.
