IGP Kashmir pips ranks to newly promoted officers

Srinagar, Sep 30: A piping ceremony was held at District Police Lines Awantipora to honour the officials who have recently been promoted to their next ranks, said an official press release.

On the occasion, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, VK Birdi pipped the ranks to the newly promoted officers, officials. A total of 8 officials were decorated, which included 4 ASIs promoted to SIs, 1 ASI (M) promoted to SI (M), 01 HC (M) promoted to ASI (M), and 2 SgCts (M) promoted to HCs (M).

The ceremony was attended by DIG SKR, SSP Awantipora, Addl. SP Awantipora and other senior officers of the Police District. IGP Kashmir congratulated the promoted officials, extended his best wishes for their future assignments, and urged them to work with greater dedication and commitment.
