Srinagar, May 15: To ensure the safety and security of the voters during the parliamentary polls in the sensitive border constituency of Baramulla, the Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF), Kashmir, Ashok Yadav, conducted a visit to the forward areas of the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.

The visit aimed to review the operational preparedness of the troops and assess the coordination with the local administration. During his visit to the Kupwara and Tangdhar areas near the LoC, IG BSF Yadav inspected the preparation and coordination efforts of the BSF.

The Lok Sabha polls for the Baramulla constituency are scheduled for May 20, and given the sensitivity of the area, security arrangements are being meticulously planned and executed.
