IFTM Top Resa 2025: 3-member CM-led official delegation to visit Paris

Jammu, Sep 16: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who is also J&K Tourism Minister, will lead a three-member official delegation that will visit Paris to participate in the International and French Travel Market (IFTM) Top Resa (Paris), scheduled to be held from September 23 to 25, 2025.

However, this visit will be subject to the clearances of the concerned ministries of the Government of India and fulfilling other codal formalities.

IFTM Top Resa is a major event for all the stakeholders in the tourism and travel industry and is the B2B (business-to-business) trade show specialised in tourism in France.

“Subject to the clearances of the concerned Ministries of the Government of India and fulfilling other codal formalities, sanction is hereby accorded to the deputation of the official delegation, headed by Omar Abdullah, Chief Minister (Minister Incharge, Tourism Department), to visit Paris for participation in the IFTM Top Resa, Paris, scheduled to be held from September 23, 2025, to September 25, 2025,” read an order issued by GAD Commissioner Secretary M Raju, on behalf of the J&K government.

As per order, the other two members of the delegation will be Nasir Aslam Wani, Advisor to the Chief Minister, and Vikas Gupta, senior JKAS officer and Director of Tourism Jammu.

“Further, the expenditure on this account shall be borne by the Tourism Department,” the GAD order read.
