“There are many challenges that the people of Kangan have been facing for years. I aim to address these issues and ensure that development reaches every corner of our constituency,” he said.

Ali also pledged to bridge the gap that has existed since 2014, promising to be a representative, who listens to and acts on the needs of the people.

He expressed his commitment to fulfilling the party’s manifesto and addressing the longstanding “divisions” among the people since 2014.

“My priority will be the development of the Kangan constituency, particularly in boosting tourism,” he said.

Ali highlighted the potential for growth in Kangan’s youth, promising to open new avenues for their advancement.

“If I become an MLA, I will go everywhere to find ways to develop opportunities for the youth,” he said.

On the ongoing mining issues in the region, the NC candidate assured that he would work towards resolving these challenges.

He pledged to focus on the development of seven major lakes in Kashmir, including the well-known Tarsar and Mansar lakes.

“Our lakes are treasures,” Ali said. “If people give me a mandate, I will prioritise their development and construct eco-friendly homestays at Tarsar and Mansar, giving a significant push to tourism while creating employment for our youth.”
