IEDs, wireless communication device recovered in Surankote

Rajouri, Mar 10: Security forces on Sunday afternoon recovered seven Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and a wireless communication device during a search operation in Surankote area of Poonch district.

The operation was launched in the area by police alongwith other forces on Sunday morning.

Official sources said that on some specific information, a search operation was launched at Dara Sangla village area of Surankote when a terror hideout was busted in rocks.

From the hideout, they said, seven IEDs were recovered and those will be destroyed through controlled mechanism later on.

Besides, the official sources said. one wireless communication device has also been recovered while searches are still going on in the area.
