New Delhi, Apr 15: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Monday said ideas and innovations were the new wealth of the nation.

Attending a book release function in New Delhi, the LG said, “Ideas and innovation are a new wealth of the nation.”

He said academic institutions’ growing orientation towards research and innovation would produce unparalleled outcomes in the future that would have impact-making contributions to socio-economic development.

The book ‘The Art of Implementation - How Modi Ki Guarantee is Delivered’ is an anthology of articles.

The event was also attended by Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman.

The publication has been edited by Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Mukul Priyadarshi.

The LG congratulated the publisher, SGT University, and the editorial team and conveyed his best wishes.

He said that the publication offers an in-depth analysis of various facets of leadership, governance, policy and delivery architecture, and presented a detailed insight from those who played a key role in policy formulation and implementation.

“The book explores inclusive, progressive, and sustainable development approach and how effective policy implementation has created equity and opportunity for all citizens,” the LG said.

He said the article dedicated to the six guiding principles of implementation - ABCDEF- Align, Believe, Communicate, Democratise, Evaluate and Follow Through would inspire the young generation and policymakers.

The LG also paid tributes to Rambhau Mhalgi and remembered his contribution to nation-building.

Former chief minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar; President IGNCA, Ram Bahadur Rai; editors of the book, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe and Mukul Priyadarshi, and prominent personalities from diverse fields were present on the occasion.
