Idara Falah-e-Aam Waqf dedicates 2 houses to needy families
Srinagar, Sep 17: Idara Falah-e-Aam Waqf has dedicated two housing units for underprivileged families at Anderkote, Bandipora, and Devar, Baramulla.
A statement of the Idara Falah-e-Aam Waqf issued here said that the ribbon-cutting ceremony was jointly done by President Imamia Education and Welfare Trust, Bangalore, and Chairman IFAW, Mirza Muhammad Mehdi, in the presence of IFAW trustees, local well-wishers, and community leaders.
The constructed houses, each comprising two rooms, a kitchen, and a washroom with running water, electricity, and sanitation, were fully funded by Imamia Education and Welfare Trust, Bangalore.
Beneficiaries, previously living in tin sheds, expressed deep gratitude for the dignified homes.
The trust selected the most vulnerable families, including orphan and single-parent households.
“IFAW is grateful to our donors and partners whose unwavering support made this achievement possible. The team IE&WT and IFAW also reviewed the ongoing two housing projects in Bemina,” the statement said.
