I respect the verdict of people, says Mehbooba Mufti as NC leads in Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat

Srinagar, June 04: PDP president Mehbooba Mufti who is trailing in Anantnag-Rajouri Lok Sabha seat on Tuesday said that winning and losing are parts of the game which won’t deter her party from their path.

She thanked party leaders and workers for their hard work and expressed gratitude to those who voted to her.

In a post on X, Mehbooba said: “Respecting the verdict of the people I thank my PDP workers & leaders for their hard work & support despite all the odds. My deepest gratitude to the people who voted for me. Winning & losing is part of the game & wont deter us from our path”.

As per latest data from the ECI, Mehbooba was trailing behind Mian Altaf Ahmad of the NC by over 193,000 votes in Anantnag-Rajouri Parliamentary seat.
