HPV Trust expands emergency fleet with 15th ambulance
Srinagar, Nov 16: Help Poor Voluntary Trust (HPV Trust) inaugurated its 15th ambulance, including its 5th Critical Care Ambulance, at a ceremony held at Tagore Hall, Srinagar. The event was attended by Dr Mehmooda, Assistant Director, Health Services, Kashmir.
As per the statement issued, the newly added Critical Care Ambulance is equipped with advanced life-saving technology, significantly boosting the Trust’s capacity to deliver reliable and timely emergency medical care across Jammu & Kashmir. The Chief Guest commended HPV Trust for its long-standing commitment to public welfare and stressed that such initiatives play a crucial role in improving emergency healthcare access, particularly for vulnerable and remote communities.
The statement further noted that over the past two and a half decades, HPV Trust ambulances have travelled more than 15 lakh kilometres, providing emergency assistance, inter-facility transfers, and critical interventions to thousands of patients. With the addition of this new ambulance, the organisation continues to expand its humanitarian footprint and reinforce its mission of saving lives.
