House gutted in Rajouri fire

Rajouri, May 6: A house gutted in a fire incident at Gundi- Kanala area of remote Khawas tehsil of Rajouri district.

Police said that fire broke out at around 7.30 PM in far flung Gundi area and flames engulfed the structure owned by Mohammad Farooq son of Mohammad Hussain resident of Gundi Kanala.

In the incident, police further said, the house structure was completely damaged. Some cattle were also charred to death. Flames have also damaged a nearby structure. A fire fighting operation by locals is going on as fire tenders could not be used for operation due to absence of road.
