House gutted in fire at Chakka

Ramban, Dec 6: A residential house was gutted in a fire incident at Chakka- Sarbagni area of Ramsu in Ramban district.

Official sources said that fire broke out in the house of Abdul Latif Wani and damaged it. Property worth lakhs of rupees was destroyed .

According to family sources, the fire appeared abruptly late last night in one of the rooms and spread to other rooms immediately. The officials of fire and emergency department were not informed by the locals.

On noticing fire in their house, the affected family members raised an alaram. Neighbours rushed to the spot and began the fire fighting operation. However, the house was completely damaged. Around 16 family members of three families were residing in the residential house.
