House damaged in Uri after heavy rains

Uri, April 15: A residential house was damaged due to heavy rains in the Uri area of north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Monday, officials said.

A residential house belonging to Anayatullah Khan, son of Sherali Knan of Damadori Bugna, came under a landslide this evening and got damaged.

They said that soon after the incident, a police team reached at the spot, rescued the family members, and shifted them to safer places.

An official told news agency Kashmir Scroll that no loss of life or any other injury was reported in the incident.
