Hoteliers Club mourns passing of Abdul Rashid Ghani

Srinagar, Dec 15: The Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers Club (JKHC) expressed profound sorrow over the demise of Abdul Rashid Ghani, a prominent businessman from Kashmir and father of Tariq Rashid Ghani, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries Kashmir (CCIK) and Secretary General hoteliers club.

Chairman of the J&K Hoteliers Club, Mushtaq Chaya extended heartfelt condolences and offered prayers for the departed soul. The entire membership of JKHC united in expressing deep sympathy, with special thoughts directed towards Tariq Rashid Ghani and his family during this difficult time.

Abdul Rashid Ghani, fondly known as "Bedaba," was remembered not just as a businessman, but as a pivotal religious and community leader. A resident of Bagh e Ali Mardan in Srinagar, he was widely respected for his extensive contributions to religious and social spheres.

As the president of Jamait-ul-Hamdaani, Ghani played a crucial role in managing and maintaining several important religious shrines in Srinagar, including Bahauddin Ganj Bakhash, Khanqah-e-Moula, and Asar-e-Shareef Kalashpora. His leadership extended beyond mere administration, as he was deeply committed to preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of the region.

The funeral prayers, held yesterday at Ziyarat Khwaja Bahauddin Ganj Baksh in Srinagar, witnessed a large gathering of mourners paying their final respects.
