Hot, humid weather to prevail across J&K till July 26: MeT

Srinagar, July 21: Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted no significant weather activity across Jammu and Kashmir till end of the ongoing month. It said that hot and humid weather conditions to prevail in Jammu & Kashmir till July 26^th.

The official said from July 21^st to 26^th there is a forecast of mainly clear to partly cloudy with brief spells of rain & thundershower at isolated to scattered places of Kashmir division, and scattered to fairly widespread places of Jammu division.

From July 27^th to 31^st there is a forecast of party to generally cloudy with intermittent spells of light to moderate rain & thundershower at many places of Jammu and Kashmir, he said.

He said the intense showers for brief period with possibility of landslides, mudslides and shooting stones over few vulnerable places of Jammu division are also forecasted.
