Hopeful of Pattan road widening soon: Inam Un Nabi
Srinagar, Dec 12: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi on Thursday convened a detailed meeting with officials of the Rural Development Department (RDD) and the Municipal Committee Pattan to assess the progress of the ongoing road widening project and address concerns raised by traders and local residents.
According to a press release issued, the meeting was attended by the traders’ President, representatives of the affected families, AIP Constituency Incharge M. Akbar, and senior party leaders. Inam Un Nabi emphasized the need for coordinated, time-bound redressal of public grievances and urged the authorities to ensure that the widening work moves forward smoothly without causing unnecessary inconvenience to shopkeepers and households along the route.
Later, the AIP spokesperson visited Pattan Hospital, where he assured doctors and staff that the upgradation commitment made by MP Baramulla Er Rashid “will be fulfilled without fail.” He further announced the sanctioning of MPLADS funds to meet critical requirements of the hospital, reiterating that AIP is committed to improving healthcare infrastructure across the constituency.
