Hope serious probe is initiated in Kishtwar incident: Iltija Mufti

Srinagar,  Nov 21: Senior PDP leader Iltija Mufti today hoped that a serious probe is initiated in Kishtwar incident.

She posted on X, “Reports about army officials allegedly torturing five civilians in Kishtwar is yet another distressing example of how certain laws give sweeping powers and impunity to armed forces in J&K.”

Iltija hoped that army  and police initiate a “serious probe into this incident and ensures punishment to the perpetrators.”
