Hope ECI ensures level playing field for all political parties: Farooq Abdullah

Srinagar, Aug 16: Former J&K Chief Minister and JKNC chief, Farooq Abdullah on Friday said that he hopes the Election Commission of India (ECI) ensures level playing field for all the political parties of the region.

He said he doesn't want to see that only one party is being privileged.

While talking to media in Srinagar, Abdullah said that the massive rejig in the administration and security departments signifies that the administration knew about the announcement beforehand.

He said that the ECI should take note and ask the administration about the motives behind these transfers.
