Home Minister to review Amarnath Yatra 2024 arrangements during his Srinagar visit

Srinagar, May 16: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his Srinagar visit will chair a meeting to review arrangements pertaining to Shri Amarnath Yatra 2024. He will also meet party’s leadership to discuss political developments took place in Jammu and Kashmir since conduct of Lok Sabha election in the region.

Speaking to reporters, BJP senior leader and former minister Sunil Sharma said the visit of Union Home Minister Amit Shah to Srinagar is apolitical as he will chair a meeting to review the arrangements for the Amarnath Yatra 2024.

He said the Home Minister will also meet several delegations during his visit to Srinagar.

Giving details, the BJP leader said that people from different walks of life which include Gujjar, Bakerwall, Dal dwellers, civil society members and others can meet him as there will be no meet restrictions in place.
