Home Minister pays tributes to BSF braveheart at Vinay post in Hiranagar sector

Jammu, Apr 07: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Monday paid tributes to Assistant Commandant Vinay Prasad at Vinay post named after the officer, who was killed in action on January 15, 2019 in Pak Rangers' fire.

The BSF officer was supervising embankment project when Rangers had opened fire on the BSF party.

The BSF officer had retaliated but sustained grievous injuries and died

Shah also inspected surveillance equipments kept on display inside the post.

Shah reached Jammu Sunday evening on 3-day J&K visit.
