Home Minister arriving today in Jammu
Jammu, Sep 25: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is arriving tomorrow in Jammu region to hit the campaign trail in the third and last phase of J&K assembly elections to further bolster BJP’s electoral prospects.
Following him, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reaching Jammu on September 28 to give desired impetus to the party campaign in the last phase of J&K assembly elections. These two topmost star campaigners of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have participated in electioneering to seek public support for the party candidates in every phase.
According to a BJP spokesperson, the Union Home Minister will address four rallies in Kathua and Udhampur districts of Jammu region in the last phase.
“As per his itinerary, he will address election rallies at Barwal Morh of Jasrota and Bani in district Kathua; Chenani and Udhampur assembly segments in Udhampur district,” he said.
“Following Shah, PM Modi will address a mega rally at MA Stadium Jammu on September 28.
Third phase of polling will be held on October 1 and the campaigning will end on September 29.
Besides Shah, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also reaching Jammu tomorrow on a two-day visit. “He will also address election rallies at Army Ground, Jourian in Akhnoor, R S Pura Stadium, Ramgarh at Gadwal, Ramnagar and Kathua,” spokesperson said.
