High Court to observe summer vacations from June 10
Srinagar, June 6: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Thursday announced its 20-day summer vacation from June 10.
“It is hereby notified that the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will observe the summer vacations with effect from June 10, 2024, to June 29, 2024, (both days inclusive), reads an order issued by Registrar General, Shahzad Azeem. According to the order, the period commencing from June 10 to 15 shall be a ‘no work period” for the High Court.
The court has named four judges, two each in the Srinagar and Jammu wings for hearing all matters of urgent nature during the vacation.
Justice Rahul Bharti will hear the urgent matters at the Jammu wing from June 17 to 22 while Justice Muhammad Yousuf Wani will hear the cases from June 24 to 29.
At the Srinagar wing, Justice Moksha Khajuria Kazmi will hear the matters from June 17 to 22 and Justice Wasim Sadiq Nargal from June 24 to 29.
