Hideout busted in Kupwara forests; arms, ammunition recovered: Army

Kupwara, Aug 13: Security forces on Wednesday busted a hideout in Gulgam forest area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, recovering arms, ammunition, and other war-like stores.

"Based on specific input, a joint search operation was launched by India Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police in general area of Alachizab in Gulgam forest, Kupwara which resulted in recovery of large quantity of war-like stores including one pistol explosives, ammunition and grenades," Army's Chinar Corps said on X.

"Operation is in progress," Army added.
