In an advisory, it cautioned that the intense showers could trigger flash floods, landslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas.

Srinagar, July 21: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar on Monday forecast heavy rains and gusty winds across Jammu and Kashmir over the next three days, from July 21 to 24.

In an advisory, it cautioned that the intense showers could trigger flash floods, landslides, and shooting stones in vulnerable areas.

According to the advisory, heavy to very heavy rainfall along with gusty winds is likely at several places in Jammu and Kashmir during this period.

It further added that intense showers could swell rivers, streams, and nallahs, potentially causing flash floods in some regions.

From July 25 to 27, hot and humid weather is expected across Jammu and Kashmir, with brief spells of rain in some areas.
