Health Minister, MLA Zadibal inaugurate key facilities at JLNM Hospital

Srinagar, May 26: In a major boost to healthcare services in Srinagar, Health Minister Sakina Itoo along with MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq today inaugurated three vital facilities at JLNM Hospital, Rainawari — the Electroencephalography (EEG) Lab, Oncology Services, and the Histopathology Lab.

"This marks a significant milestone, as JLNM becomes the first District Hospital in Jammu and Kashmir to offer in-house Histopathology services. This facility will reduce the report turnaround time from a month to just 7–10 days, greatly enhancing patient care and easing the financial burden on families who previously relied on private labs," Sadiq said.

Health Minister Sakina Itoo was joined by Tanvir Sadiq who is also Chief Spokesperson of National Conference. Sadiq reiterated the party’s commitment to accessible and affordable healthcare for all, especially for the people of Downtown Srinagar.
