Dr Shakeel ur Rehman, Secretary General of MMF, explained the camp's goal, saying, “Our focus was on raising awareness about managing chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, particularly with the harsh winter months approaching. Many patients had little understanding of how lifestyle and diet impact disease management. We saw high rates of gastric issues and fatty liver disease, and many were undertreated for existing conditions. We optimised dosages and recommended cost-effective, newer medicines.”

Senior citizens and their families expressed deep appreciation for the support. Hosting the camp in a school provided an additional message to the youth about the importance of elder care, helping encourage respect and empathy across generations.
