HC notifies winter timings for district courts in Kashmir, Ladakh

Srinagar, Nov 11: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh on Tuesday issued a notification announcing revised winter office and court timings for all district courts in Kashmir and Ladakh.

According to the notification issued by Registrar General M K Sharma, the new schedule will remain in force from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.

The order states that the office hours in both regions will run from 10 am to 4:30 pm, with a lunch break from 1 pm to 1:30 pm. Court proceedings will be conducted from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a break from 1 pm to 2 pm.

The notification states that from April 1, 2026, the district courts would revert to the timings prescribed under High Court Order No 1638/NG dated May 22, 2020.
