Have passed directions to release salaries of NHM employees: Sakina Itoo

Srinagar, February 12: Sakeena Itoo, the Health and Medical Education Minister, announced on Wednesday via X handle that she has issued the directions for release of National Health Mission (NHM) employees.

Using her X handle (formerly Twitter), Itoo said the government of Jammu and Kashmir is committed to the welfare of health workers.

In the tweet, Sakeeena ensured timely support for the workers' "invaluable service".

"Have passed the directions for release of salaries of NHM (National Health Mission) employees. The government remains committed to the welfare of healthcare workers and ensuring timely support for their invaluable services" read her tweet.

Earlier, NHM employees raised concerns over delayed salary and urged the government to address issue at an earliest.
