Haryana Governor highlights Kashmir’s contribution to Sanatan Dharma

Srinagar, Apr 9:  Governor of Haryana, Bandharu Dattatray Tuesday highlights Kashmir’s contribution to the development of Sanatan Dharma.

A statement of Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj issued here said that addressing a gathering of hundreds of Kashmiri Pandits and locals on the occasion of Navreh to celebrate Saptrishi Samvat at Vichar Nag temple in Srinagar, Dattatray highlighted the contribution of Kashmir in the development of Sanatan Dharma, knowledge system, and in spiritual consciousness development.

He also released a special calendar to commemorate the 5100 years of the Saptrishi system.

Dattatray assured the audience of his commitment to renovate and restore the glory of temples of Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha through a telephonic message conveyed Navreh's greetings to the Kashmiri Pandit community.

On the occasion, Raj Nehru and Ramesh Bhardwaj announced a seat on research of Kashmir Shaivism to bring forth the greatness of Kashmir Shavism.

Kiran Wattal, Convenor Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj thanked the guests and highlighted the importance of the Saptrishi calendar.

He thanked Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for the revival of Sanatana in Kashmir.
