The Chinar trees, a symbol of Kashmir, take centre stage, their leaves changing into vibrant hues and carpeting the ground with golden beauty.
The stunning scenery is drawing hundreds of tourists, especially during October and November, making this season one of the best times to visit the Valley.
The Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department is actively promoting ‘Harud’ to encourage more people to visit during this enchanting time.

The Kashmir autumn transforms the Valley into a palette of red, brown, and gold hues, and lures thousands of tourists every year, particularly between October and November.

The Mughal Gardens like Nishat, Shalimar, Harwan, Cheshma Shahi, Pari Mahal, and Naseem Bagh, and other gardens like Chinar Bagh look fabulous with a golden carpet of fallen leaves, creating a picture-perfect scene against the backdrop of Zabarwan Hills.
