Harish Kumar Gupta appointed as DGP Andhra Pradesh

Jammu, Jan 29: Harish Kumar Gupta, 1992-batch IPS officer has been appointed as the Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh.

Harish has been given full additional charge of the post following the retirement of Ch D Tirumala Rao.

Harish Gupta, who currently serves as the Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement and ex-officio Principal Secretary to the Government in the GA (V&E) Department, will take over with effect from January 31, 2025.
