‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign: DC Ganderbal leads boat rally in Manasbal lake
Ganderbal, Aug 11: As part of the ongoing “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, the District Administration Ganderbal Monday organized a “Mega Tiranga Boat Rally” at Manasbal Lake, led by Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore.
As per officials, the event, aimed at instilling patriotic fervour and promoting a spirit of unity, witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, Civil Society members, and locals. SSP Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal, ACR and other officers from police and district administration also participated. With the tricolour held high and national slogans echoing across the waters, the rally transformed the picturesque Manasbal Lake into a vibrant display of patriotism.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC lauded the active participation of the community and highlighted the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. He appealed to the locals to participate actively in an upcoming mega Tiranga rally which is scheduled on August 12 at district headquarter. The event concluded with a reaffirmation of collective commitment towards national pride and unity, leaving the lake shimmering with the colours of the nation.
Similarly, as a part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign an impressive and unique mega horse riding Tiranga Rally was held at Sonamarg on Monday.
The rally was led by Sub Divisional Magistrate Kangan and consisted of local Horse Riders , officials of Forest Protection, J&K Police, Sonamarg Development Authority, Tourism and traders. SDM Kangan Nazir Ahmad on the occasion emphasized the event’s significance, stating, “This rally was organized at Sonamarg and it holds special importance. With the coordination of, employees of different departments, and mostly local people, we conducted this Tiranga rally.”
