Hakeem Yaseen welcomes LG’s job initiative for terror victims’ families

Budgam, Aug 7: People's Democratic Front (PDF) Chairman and former Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Thursday welcomed the initiative of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for providing government jobs to the Next of Kin (NoK) of terrorism victims in Jammu and Kashmir.

He lauded the government’s efforts to acknowledge the sufferings of families affected by terrorism but emphasized that more needs to be done, as per KNS.

Addressing a one-day party convention at Kralnewa in the Khansahib constituency of central Kashmir’s Budgam district, Hakeem Yaseen said, “While the LG’s move to provide jobs to families of terror victims commendable, I strongly urge the administration to also consider the cases of those who lost their lives in cross-firing incidents and whose identities were never claimed," he said.
