Srinagar Oct 9: The Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) Srinagar organised an exchange program with Nankana Public School, Ludhiana.

The event was aimed at fostering educational collaboration and cultural exchange between the two institutions.

As per the handout issued here, the students from Nankana Public School were given a warm welcome by the faculty and the students of the host school.

On the occasion, the students from the host school and the participating school jointly showcased some performances which set the tone for the day.

The atmosphere was vibrant and filled with enthusiasm as the students from Nankana Public School also presented their talents on stage.

Principal GVEI M D Zargar his welcome adress briefed about the school and the motive for organising the exchange program.

Principal of Nankana Public School Harmeet Kaur expressed her delight at the opportunity for the schools to connect, emphasizing the significance of shared learning and collaboration.

On the occasion around 60 students from Nankana Public School were integrated into classrooms with their peers at GVEI m, providing them an opportunity to experience the teaching environment and interact directly with fellow students.

The teachers also participated in discussions and activities, offering their insights to the students of GVEI.

A significant highlight of the exchange program was the workshop conducted by Principal Harmeet Kaur for educators teaching levels 8 to 12.

The session focused on enhancing student engagement through interactive teaching methodologies.

Kaur discussed various strategies for promoting a dynamic classroom environment, emphasizing the importance of interactive learning sessions and effective methods for keeping students motivated and involved.

Chairman GVEI Mohammed Yusuf Wani presented a memento to Harmeet Kaur and her team.

In his address Wani highlighted the importance of exchange programs in schools.

"Such initiatives not only encourage a diverse cultural understanding but also help students realize that learning extends beyond boundaries," Wani said.

He said that was committed to host such exchange programs on future and allow students to gain insights into different perspectives, enhance their cultural awareness, and expand their knowledge horizons.
