Gurez-Bandipora road closed

Srinagar, Nov 11: The Gurez-Bandipora road has been closed for traffic movement following snow accumulation in the region. An official said that the area received around 3 inches of snow, with ongoing snowfall expected to add to the total accumulations following which the road was closed for all kinds of traffic.

He said that the area has witnessed snowfall along with strong winds due to which travelling on the road was very dangerous.

The official said that after the snowfall stops, efforts would be made to restore traffic on the road.
