Gunfight breaks out in south Kashmir’s Shopian

A gunfight broke out between militants and security forces in Ganowpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.

News agency GNS reported that a joint team of police and army launched a search operation in the area which turned into a gunfight.

Two to three militants are believed to be trapped in the area, as per GNS.
