A statement said that the delegation expressed concern over the inclusion of 33 Tangmarg villages under the jurisdiction of the Gulmarg Development Authority (GDA), saying the move has created confusion, administrative overlap, and weakened the Panchayati Raj system. They urged the Government to bring these villages under Government Order No. 11 of 2022 issued by the Rural Development Department, which empowers Rural Development Officers to approve the construction of residential houses.
