Group of students flagged off for 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir
Srinagar, Dec 25: On the directions of IGP Kashmir, V K Birdi, the Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir organised a flag-off ceremony at District Police Lines, Srinagar.
This event marked the departure of 22 students from the Kashmir Valley, accompanied by two caretakers, to participate in the 25th Rashtra Katha Shivir in Rajkot, Gujarat, scheduled from December 28, 2024, to January 5, 2025.
The "25th Rashtra Katha Shivir," hosted by Shri Vedic Mission Trust, is designed to foster critical life skills and inspire the youth through motivational sessions led by distinguished speakers. DIG CKR Srinagar, Rajiv Pandey, SSP Srinagar, and other senior officers attended the event, adding to its significance.
The Zonal Police Headquarters Kashmir has made comprehensive arrangements for the students, including all boarding and lodging facilities. Additionally, each participant was provided with a customised kit containing clothing and other essentials to ensure their comfort and convenience during the program.
During an interactive session with the students, representing various parts of the Kashmir Valley, DIG CKR Srinagar emphasised the importance of the tour in promoting national integration.
