Groom among 3 injured as shooting stone hits car on Mughal road

Poonch, Jul 11: A groom among three people got injured in a road accident that happened on Mughal road after a car carrying Baratis was hit by a shooting stone.

The accident took place at Panar bridge on Mughal Road. Officials of police said that the ill-fated car JK12B 8483 was on way to Srinagar from Poonch and a groom and his two family members were travelling in it.

In this accident, soon after the shooting stone hit the vehicle, groom among three people sustained injuries who all were shifted to local civil hospital. The injured include Mohammad Amin (30), son of Abdul Kareem, resident of Shahpur Poonch, Mohammad Khalid (30), son of Ghulam Rasool, resident of Shahpur and groom Mohammad Javid (25) son of Mohd Ali resident of Radio Station Poonch. Police said to have taken up necessary legal proceedings into the matter.
