Greentech Environment Summit concludes with a focus on industrial collaboration in J&K

Sonamarg Nov 24: The 23rd Greentech Environment Summit and Awards concluded on Friday at the famed resort Sonamarg of Central Kashmir's Ganderbal district.

Over 60 major Indian companies were acknowledged for their commendable contributions to environmental sustainability.

Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Shayambir who was chief guest on the occasion, emphasised the significance of the programme organised by the Greentech Foundation in Sonamarg.

He highlighted the potential for substantial industrial collaboration, asserting that partnerships would enhance Jammu and Kashmir's economic landscape. Organisers said that the summit served as a platform to acknowledge and celebrate companies promoting green practices.

With a focus on fostering collaboration between industry and the local economy, the event set a positive tone for future initiatives in sustainable development. Ruchika Davar, host and Greentech moderator stated that the Summit and Awards laid the groundwork for a more environmentally conscious and economically vibrant future for Jammu and Kashmir.

The event culminated in recognising outstanding CSR initiatives, fostering healthy competition among the nearly 60 corporates and public sector units present.
