Greater Kailash murder case | 1 more arrested, vehicle seized: Police

Jammu, May 11: Jammu Police Saturday arrested one more accused involved in violent scuffle, leading to murder at Greater Kailash over a land dispute on April 30.

“Acting swiftly on tip-off and human as well as technical intelligence, Jammu police nabbed Sachin Patiyal alias Sanju, resident of Samba, who was involved in the land dispute scuffle, leading to murder at Greater Kailash. The accused had been evading arrest since April 30, 2024. His vehicle (Baleno) has also been seized in this case,” a police spokesperson said.

He said that the role of the accused came to the fore as “that of a significant link behind the entire scuffle.”

“It is a major achievement of Jammu Police as far as the Investigation of the case is concerned. Moreover, one Revenue officer has also been deputed to assist the SIT in investigation,” he said.

“Jammu police is steadfast in its mission to restore confidence of the masses after the dastardly incident,” he said.
